optus calls on blok

Since it’s release at Brisbane Indesign last year, our duo range is fast becoming a blok bestseller. Hassell must like it too, as a bevy of duo ottomans were ordered through our NSW Agent, Interstudio to take pride of place on the floor the largest single tenant corporate campus in Australia – the new Optus headquarters in Sydney’s Macquarie Park. Indesign Vol. 31 ran the Optus story, which saw the duo ottomans featured across a double page spread, looking splendid in Gabriel Europost Fabric. Blok duo is a versatile seating option, upholstered with a stainless steel base and available in an ottoman, chaise and sofa. Check it out…

custom install – GoMA

One of our favourite custom clients, GoMA, recently opened their doors to “Picasso & his Collection” – and we’re excited about what’s inside. Matisse, Renoir, Miro, Braque and Blok! Richard collaborated with the Interiors team on a range of custom seating solutions for the exhibition, and the client was very happy with the result (which was delivered on a very tight lead time). Two zigzag ottomans and a circle sectioned ottoman upholstered in economical Austex vinyl provide flexible public seating that can be reconfigured for a variety of events and usages. The exhibition features over 100 works from Picasso’s personal collection plus more than 80 works by the artist himself. So, make sure you pay GoMA a visit before the show closes on the 14th September, as this is the first time the collection has been seen outside of Europe, and is exclusive to Brisvegas. And don’t forget to visit blok for your own custom ‘work of art’.
